Welcome to the teachers\u2019 area of Donor Hero<\/strong>. This page has been designed to give you everything you need to run a classroom workshop with pupils aged 8 to 13, without heavy preparation<\/strong> and while feeling comfortable with a topic that can sometimes be sensitive. The idea is not simply to \u201clet them play\u201d, but to use the application as a learning tool<\/strong> and a basis for discussion, with clear guidance at each stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before starting the workshop, it is important to take pupils\u2019 possible personal experiences into account. Organ donation and transplantation may resonate with personal situations: a child may know someone who has received a transplant, may have heard about a relative waiting for an organ, or may have experienced a family situation linked to donation. These realities may influence how a session unfolds, but they can also enrich it, provided they are handled with sensitivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To establish a respectful framework, you can begin with a few open questions: \u201cHave you ever heard of organ donation?\u201d, \u201cDo you know what a transplantation is?\u201d, \u201cDo you know anyone who has been affected by this subject?\u201d. The aim is not to invite pupils to share personal stories, but to better understand the group\u2019s starting point, adapt the pace of the session, and allow pupils to express what they already know, what they imagine, or what questions they may have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once this framework has been established, the journey can begin as an adventure: pupils create a hero, move from level to level, and gradually unlock essential information about organ donation. The game alternates between moments of action (handling, trial and error), moments of reasoning (compatibility, urgency), and calmer moments (animated sequence, testimonials). This variety is valuable in class: it helps maintain attention while creating opportunities for discussion adapted to the group\u2019s pace and reactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
