Pedagogical objective
The home page is used to set the context and establish a reassuring framework. It makes it possible to remind pupils that organ donation is a real, useful, and concrete subject, while adopting an accessible tone. It is also the right moment to explain to pupils that they are about to experience an adventure, and that the game will help them understand things gradually, without needing to “know everything” from the start.
Activity flow
Before clicking to begin, you can take two to five minutes to start a short exchange. The aim is simply to gather pupils’ initial ideas: “What do you think organ donation is?”, “Why do we say that donors are heroes?”, or “Who do you think makes the decision?”. There is no need to correct immediately: the game will gradually bring out the answers.
Teacher’s role
Your role here is mainly to open the discussion and encourage pupils to enter the mission. The most important thing is to create a calm atmosphere: this is a serious subject, but it will be addressed with age-appropriate tools and a narrative that supports understanding.
