Make sure the blood types are compatible!

For a pancreas, the donor must have approximately the same height and weight as the recipient.

An organ will almost always be transplanted to a recipient from the same country as the donor, except in case of extreme emergency.

A pancreas must be transplanted in
a maximum of 6 hours!
